Each month here at ATIKA, our team are making facemasks and scrunchies for our shop floor using vintage and remnant fabric. Waste not want not as the saying goes (sorry had to!) Each month, £1 from each purchase will be going to charities we feel passionate about. Last month your donations went to our previous project friend Safehouse London. A social enterprise dedicated to educate, entertain and elevate hearts and mindsets of young people in London.

You Are More Than Your Day Job x Babygirl

It’s our second part in our series of “You’re more than your day job.” We started this project due to us working with so many talented and hard working people. We’re excited about introducing members of our team, their talents and side hustles.

Next up is Bex! She’s our eCommerce and Marketing Manger here in store. Bex is also the founder of Babygirl Studio, a bespoke hand-painted clothing brand that we have here at ATIKA. Babygirl was founded in 2017 after an influencer asked Bex to make a hand-painted vintage jacket for her for London Fashion Week. The rest is history!

ATIKA Pride Playlist

I created a Pride playlist for ATIKA with the intention to embody what pride is - complete inclusivity, rebellion and fun!

I couldn’t help but make something which is 7 hours and 34 minutes long (and counting.) Mainly because of the breadth of artistry that people of the LGBTQ+ community and our allies have made. There’s everything on there, you’ve got your classic Kylie bangers as well as more underground emerging artists such as Le1f and Angel-Ho.
